Change Char Race

I have an AT that I thought I would try but I'm not feeling it. I know he had to be brought back and wiped everything and it just reset my stats but kept the same exp. Is it possible to change the character to another race and reset just like a Phoenix char?

Name - Morty - would like to change to Warrior. I'm fine with a full reset, I don't have anything soulbound, so I still have to redo everything anyways. Thanks if granted.

And my suggestion - create another portal left side of the temple that allows you to repick another character. Hit the portal, you see the races there and you pick another one if you want. Not really any downside I would argue, but it should only be allowed on the main classes, doesn’t apply to switching to ninja, necro, or seyan.

A phoenix character is rebuilt identical to the original character, just with the stats reset back to zero in case the character templates have changed between the auto deletion and them rising again.

It does not change skills that the character has.

In theory this is possible, but I have never tried it other than by resetting you back to a private (like the Seyan portal).
There is the issue of exp from labs, exp poles and quests etc to be considered.

And like other skill resets, it will always come at a cost.

Can you just change it on the backend for a cost? In theory it is a phoenix reset to char change. In my mind the thought was an example of how Memory Lane Ammy is setup. Portal takes to an area with Hara, Temp, Merc, AH, AT, Warrior, Sorc. If you already arched and meet the requirements /archflag then you right click and buy a scroll, then poof to another reset area. Reset cost could be 10 percent of stats or whatever you think, just brainstorming.
