Add ability for players to remove arch skills themselves instead of asking for a god.
Option 1: Lab 13 and you talk to the dude and say remove <skillname>
Option 2: Lab 13 and you say remove or forget and you lose ALL arch skills (not ideal since it will be a lot of exp )
Option 3: You say remove or forget at the NPC that gave you the skill, he reminds you it will cost XXX exp, you then say confirm.
Option 4: Hand in the item for the quest again to remove the skill.
Option 5: A command players can use anytime /forgetskill NAME
If it is a profession skill then your profession rank drops to:
50% of your rank if you are a blacksmith
33% of your rank if you are a crafter
25% of your rank if you are a harvester or alchemist.
Any skill that you learn, can be unlearned.
You cannot forget innate skills that you did not have to learn in the first place.
It doesn't check if you have enough exp in update. Putting in negs.
Checking this first would stop potential crashes at negative exp (if repeated) Now checks total experience, which could cause a crash if negative.
It will allow you to go negative in update experience (same as /lower 100000.
I'd suggest limiting the options to Arch Skills and Profession skills.
Just removed my Bless, Recall, Enchance, etc...
No reason to allow that, could cause issues, bugs. No bugs. It only allows you to forget a skill that you learnt. If you as a user want to forget Bless then it is a free choice. Do you think this will cause rage?
The skill name is case sensitive, not recognizing recall vs Recall Skill name is no longer case sensitive and you need to type the entire skill name as appears in /listskill. e.g. Curse II or curse ii to remove Curse2.
It auto completes so if I use /forgetskill C it will try for Curse. Prefix command removed and now you need to type the entire skill name as it appears in /listskill.
Curse II needs quotes /forgetskill "Curse II" Curse II is now handled in it entirety, including the spaces.
If someone types /forgetskill Curse II (no quotes) it will remove Curse. Fixed.
/for goes to /forgetskill
might want to add a /forgetskil and blank it so you have to type the FULL /forgetskill (so no excuses of typing wrong command) /forget now gives unknown command. You need to at least type /forgets.

Ya big one is ppl going to fat finger.
/forget Blast II does Blast
/forget Curse II does Curse
Only arch skills should be removable, no need for people to remove Town quests. Not implemented at this stage unless we think rage will overwhelm embarrassment at typing /forgetskill Curse.
