I was able to build 1 row of carpet towards my door but that's it. I still have a 4 X 7 area directly in front of the door where I can not build.

Good bump.
They say only a fool tries the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result.
Others say that is the fundamental basis if scientific experimentation.
If may be worth trying to be a fool just one more time...

There are 3 squares directly in front of the door which are still unbuildable. But, I'm not complaining. I'll attempt to build here again but I may wait a day or so

I just read it is meant to be like that.
Maybe I'll try my persistence out on something else.
