no /surr on new warrior, limiting DW effect

Post by Marky »

A new warrior, got sh, but no sh2 yet. Did get dual wield.
The poison effect is limited to the surrounding enemies (max 4) right now.
To make sure all are affected, I need to turn on /surround.
It is listed in /helpp.
But...it says "Unknown command" when I try to use it.

Looks like /surround only gets activated when you get sh2.
Would like to use it now, with dual wield.

Issue detected on my alt Warr.

This is not a bug?
Poison an area larger then the 4 surrounding you... will require sh2

And yes /surround only works with sh2

There is a simple answer.... Get sh2 😁👍

Help is only selective based on character flags, not on available skills.

I wonder if there are any other commands that are skill dependent and not just character flag dependent.

So the help part is misleading and dw-poison is intended to work only when you have sh2?
If you have base 1 sh2, and high dw mod, then dw-poison would land. I therefore don't see the logic in why dw-poison would be limited to only surrounding npcs until you have sh2.
But...it seems to make sense to mayhem, so it can just be me

I saw /surrcomp on /helpp too on a warrior. Not likely to be ever usuable.
That could be skill dependent on sorc/hara.
Other than that, I have no idea.
