24 hr grace betwen leaving / joining a clan

Can this be removed? What's the benefit to having to wait 24 hours to join a new clan?

would like to note, i accidentally left clan with cloun while telling neekur how to leave a clan, and i can't even rejoin my clan without waiting the 24 hours

Original idea, I believe, was to prevent people for clan jumping and raiding items, as well as discouraging people from leaving clans to not get killed just to join again to PK.
