So, fire armour is +1 bwias, +1 wv, +7 av, -15 stealth, and the natural light source

Ice armour is +2 bwias, +8 av


Can we get the -stealth and natural light removed from fire set, and buff the BWIAS to match ice so that they're at least equal?

Ice armor ages, so if they were made the same stats, fire armor would just be better, plus +1 wv is easily WAY more valuable than +1 av.

EDIT: Also ice set has light i believe.

When did the equal rights for items movement begin?

All items are not equal and nor would we want them to be.
It is better if items are different so that people can choose what they prefer and items with better stats become more valuable.

That is a little bit of a cheeky comment but in all seriousness, the good items should be different.

Different is cool, but why should fire armour have -15 stealth and ice not have a negative?

Maybe fire burns and gives off light for all to see whilst ice is close to absolute zero and the light energy is slower.

Maybe fire people are attention seekers.

Once you complete the fire set, you become a lavaling.

If I recall, the lavaling potion also made u immune to fire damage.
