is it me or syncs are more painful than before, lol?

Post the worst thing that happenned to you because of a perfectly-timed sync:

For me -I once walked straight into death traps in tower and lost my +18res dagger lol

And i also /garbage 2x20 stacks of gold minerals last night by mistake hahahaha i went straight to bed after. i was mad at myself


How could we improve it?

The sync message is supposed to come out about 5 seconds b4 they sync starts.
I can make it earlier if that would help.

I do think they have gotten a little worse in terms of the time it takes to complete.

Small increase in data table sizes but I would not have thought you could measure that impact - when did it get worse?

I can add a 30 sec warning.

Not sure when maybe in the last few weeks...

If it is that recent then it could be the help data table but the whole file is only 226kb in size.
It has been added in the last 2 weeks or so.

Its way older than that, ive had really bad syncs months ago, they just seem to all happen in the same week it feels like.

Me too, but I think I always had a heart of stone...

If you are on your staffer alt then the server will send you a message when it thinks it is going too slow.

Note that this is different to an internet lag that the server will not see or care about.

The sync has been adjusted to be a 15 second warning message before the lag begins.
