Ninja torch crashes old clients

Frost crashes when he examines me, I put the torch on the ground and he crashed from it. Any new sprites since the old client likely crash it, the old client may need sprite updates or maybe he has an old version of the old client that does not contain all the new sprites.

I asked if he was using the old client and he said he was, this is how I know it is crashing the old client.

Edit: This should probably be in bugs and glitches, I clicked this one and saw crash in the titles of previous threads and did not think twice.

The old client cannot get sprite updates as it has a sprite limit that was already reached. Anyone with old clients has to update or they will crash every time.
