Cant log in

Hi peeps! back after some time! Dwnloaded the game and everytime i try to log in says firt OK then connect to server and nothing. I can see ppl online come and go but somehow cant log in. Tried dwnload all the 3 versions as i never had the game on my new laptop running Win10

try Dxwnd? and copy the settings from post called dxwnd settings under tech help

Yea game won't play with windows 8 or higher without something to fix that lack of ddraw that got removed from recent versions of Windows. Dxwnd works best to fix it imo, there is a guide somewhere is technical help.
Sometimes one of the 3 downloads of the game without dxwnd works but not always.

Prob is it says "Connection error" or smth. I though that Dxwnd probles isnt related to connection. will try later when i get home

Wonder if my chars are dead or still alive.. had 2 Champion

Can you create a new character? That will tell you whether you are trying to login to deleted files.

If you login with a new character and the screen goes blank then it is a direct draw issue.

In that case you have a number of alternatives (in order of simplicity):
1. Try the two alternative Fixes included in the game download. See step 5 in Windows7/8/10 Compatibility Guide
2. Try to install and use DxWnd Forum DxWnd
3. Try to use a Virtual Machine running Windows XP or Linux with Wine.
