hey everyone trying to start again but game is really laggy and the only client I can get to work is the original what am I doing wrong

It is probably the windows compatibility issue.
There are a number of guides under technical help for similar problems.
You need to Windows XP compatibility mode on.
You will need one of the two graphs option installed depending on your graphics card. AMD or Nvidia.
See if they help.
If not post the details of your PC and what you are observing.
