This scroll aged and poofed within five seconds. Did not even have time to click it.

Curious.

The Casino Scrolls appear to have been deliberately create with a very short life (100 ticks / 18 ticks/second ~= 5 seconds).
Not sure what Moto was thinking other than to encourage you to click it very quickly...

It seems that if you click it before it disappears it takes you to a chest room.
I got a piece of armour. Not sure what the other prizes are as I have never done this before.

Is this a bug or Moto being harsh on gamblers, not sure?

I would suggest raising it to 10 seconds as that's a bit untenable. No idea on what thoughts went into the design.

Casino Manager now gives you a warning about 20 second life of the scroll.
Scrolls now expire after about 20 seconds.
