New Scroll Question

Post by Tulkas »

Hey, just wanted to clarify on the new scroll added to Damors. If i have a SS item that is +15 TH and +1 Blast (Thus requiring Blast) i can use the scroll to get rid of the blast (and thus not requiring blast)?

Can you remove multiples from a SS piece?

As in the same piece had +15th +3 blast, could you use 3 scrolls to remove all the blast?

It requires 3 scrolls to remove +3 blast, which can be expensive if u have to remove too many.
Each scroll removes 1 level of a skill.

Mayhem,

On what item and on which character?

I am not aware of any skill that can not be removed but clearly I have not tested every combination.

Note that it does not work on old items created by Profession skills prior to the change being implemented. It does work on new Profession skill items post the implementation.
It should work on old and new soulstone created items.

Note that the skill name must be identical to the name in /listskill and in lower case.

/remove surround ii

Is there a way to implement it on older profession items?

When you use a SS it sets a flag on the item to indicate it was SS created.
Old profession items did not have this flag.
Part of the changes was to set this flag when a Profession item was created.
The scroll requires the flag to be set in order to be able to differentiate SS/Profession items from any other item that does not have a template.
There was no other easy way to identify the items so setting the flag was a nice and quick solution.

The problem was the legacy Profession items that I could not easily and automatically identify.
That problem still exists where I can not simply and easily tell what items were created from professions to be able to be able to set the flag on them.

Is there a way to implement a command to manually add that flag?

I have a piece I would really like to use this scroll on.
