god scroll stacking

Hold Ish scroll in hand and click on another Ish scroll of the same type to stack them. Limit of 12 charges?
Do the same for ankh/skua.


It will save a lot of space & scrolls that are low on charges will waste less space.

If this is to hard to do, they could also simply reduce the rate they drop. and massively increase the charges. so lets say you change it to 12 charges from 3, but then you make them 4x as rare.

This has been added to the Testserver and is being tested for all Spell Scrolls.

It will effectively work in a similar way to Profession item stacking with the same Max Quantity of 20 scrolls per stack.

It will be implemented in the next release which is in the stages of development and testing.

Just realized while running a Temp for a while...

This will be a gamechanger for Temps. Any Temp that has a main stacking up scrolls for him can solo nearly anything with these stacks.

Will Ankh, Ishtar, and Skua scrolls all be stackable? Including Stun and Curse?

Not all the scrolls are created equal and therefore not stackable.

With an inventory Full of Ankh scrolls do a /sort and you will see they have different values for the same scroll.
(ie. some Ankh Prot at top of sort and some Ankh Prot at bottom of sort.)

Wasted a bunch trying to stack cause they are Not the same.
Ankh Enhance would not stack at all in any order...

Same was true for some Ish scrolls, and not gonna try on Skuas until we know for certain it is fixed.

I have also come to realize that the scrolls that don't stack do not say "1 item in the stack" at the bottom like the others do when you right click them.

Maybe that will be an easier way to find them before you stack and maybe fix the problem.

They seem to come from certain chests and are generated differently...

Is there any way to convert "OLD" scrolls to the new stackable kind? Maybe add an npc to give scrolls to? Cause the majority of scrolls i have are old ;p

Yep.

Working on it and to allow the sprite to change if the item is stacked or the stack is full.

I just found an "Old" scroll in a Garg pents grave. Not very old.

Not sure if that will help you with tagging them all.

It looks like populate() drops OLD scrolls as well as the Pumpkin and Red Letter chests.

I have fixed the pumpkins and Letters.

The populate code (when a new NPC is created) has been fixed on the Testserver.
I also have code that changes the sprite when the stack is being filled and when it is full.
Now I just need to create the sprites...

Finally I will write some code to change all the old scrolls into new scrolls.

The old scrolls were created prior to be being involved in 2009. I am assuming it was an Aranock addition and not pre Aranock.
I have no idea why they went to the trouble of duplicating the scrolls etc.

Just a heads up LL, I just looted a prot scroll off a grolm, it is labeled as old as well
